I love beauty. Its been my first love since I created my first hair product at 6 years old. One thing I grew to dislike about the industry is the lack of passion and love for the services being offered. There are too many hustlers in the industry and not enough passionate beauty professionals who love working with clients AND earning money.
When I offered beauty services behind the chair, I had passion. My clients used to wonder how I was so patient with time consuming services. I loved performing beauty services! Doing hair and offering services rarely felt like work. From experience, beauty is an industry one should not enter if they are interested in money over people.
Searching for a quality Nail Technician has not been so great until yesterday. Prior to this experience, I’ve had many okay services at nail salons. The great services left a forgettable experience. I received services from many nail salons around the country. Most salons focused on toes only or provided services which left my fingers and toes sore or bruised. One salon caused athlete’s foot. I’ve dealt with rushed and incomplete services and more. After so many disappointments, and money spent I decided to complete my own pedicures at home. Being a mom, I prefer being pampered by a professional. I spent years servicing others. Nowadays, I want to be serviced too!
In my career, I spent some time offering nail services. I’m very familiar with the process, products used for manicures, pedicures and acrylic nails as I have provided all of these services. Two of my twelve years in the industry I provided nail services.
